Give, Because You Know You Want To

When ever people can get together to help a group in need, that is a good thing. Some area bloggers have come to the rescue of a hockey team in need. Local hockey is a mixed bag here in the DC area, and when there is a good program in trouble it should be our responsibility to come to its aid. Because we love the sport in general, because we want those younger than us to appreciate a sport we hold dear and mostly because it's right to do so. So I am asking my readers to help out as well. Here are the details. Even if it's only a dollar, it helps.

What: An auction to benefit the Wilson High hockey team
When: Friday, February 29th 7:00 pm (leap day)
Where: Clyde's of Gallery Place - $10

Thanks for the mention! We're also working on an online donation tool for those who can't attend. Hope to see you there!
